This D&C project will deliver a new 30-bed facility at Salisbury House, incorporating a new 27-car basement and renovation of 14 existing beds. Main considerations are the steep topography of the site, maintaining a live and operational facility during the project, and consideration toward the susceptibility of residents. A new second story wing will be built over the existing single story, therefore structural strengthening will need to occur within the existing facility to accommodate the overbuild. This component of works will be staged to ensure minimum disruption.
